Hi, I was looking at getting some gauges for my coming hrc kit, and I was wondering, which is better, the boost gauge that displays vac too, or just boost? Also, is a Pyrometer gauge and EGT gauge the same thing just difernt term? Thanks.

i personally like the vac on my boost gauge because you will see if you have a vac leak, and the pryometer and egt are the same but make sure you get the one with the probe.

If you buy a new kit, it comes with a boost gauge but to me it's cheap. Any Autometer boost/vac gauge will do. The Ultra Lite's are a great deal. Also I think an EGT gauges is just that, the gauge. While the Pyrometer refers to the gauge and probe, which usually is apparant by the price difference. emoji

thanks for the info, also I was looking at the autometer lunar series gauges, it says that it hooks up to the stock light intensity switch. I have a RS and have never seen a dash lighting intensity switch, they will still work, yes? Thanks.

Your RS doesn't have an interior light dim knob? emoji If not, then you just wont be able to dim your lights in the gauges, but you can still use them.
