well i know that people try and sell stuff oneay for imformation on how to do things such as making lambo doors and whatever. well nw they got one to make your hood "floaT" I have seen cars do this at shows by holding the hood in the air with poles but it requires drilling holes in their hood. well check this out on ebay,..... does anyone know how to do this without drilling holes?? thanks, jerry

I think that it is tight, someone should buy the instructions off of eBay and then post them up somewhere.

if someone wants to get it off ebay i'll throw in $5 on it. a few more people should throw in on it, then who ever orders it can post the directions up for all of us.

from what i was told all u do is get 4 pipes, the back ones will be longer than the front, you get pins for the top and bottom and that holds the hood in place so the wind doesnt take it away, alot of cats that have hood pins hook it to them. hope that helps give u a idea

with all the mindshare we have here, I'm sure we could figure this out.

needed... 4 hydraulic cylinders (if you want it on a switch) or 4 gas shock supports like on a hatchback

hydraulics would need to have some work done to run lines for fluid and power..

for the non-auto version... 4 shocks for hatchbacks... support them somehow via the engine bay area (not sure where to bolt or support.. but I imagine something could be devised) and then secure with hoodpins.. no way this can be done without *some* drilling...

any other thoughts?
