#41330, "Poll question: Body Kit Users... If you had the chance to start over again, knowing what you know now, what would y..."

Im trying to figure out what I want to do about a bodykit, but im not sure if I want to get Urethane (only a few available), get Fiberglass (cracks easier, but have a bigger selection), or mix it up. I like almost every body kit available to us, so if YOU think one material is better than the other, let me know.

So what do you think and why? TIA!

Before I put my fiberglass Blitz front bumper on, I got a gallon jug of the Bondo Fiberglass stuff and poured it all over the back side. Where the two points that come down by the ground are, I have probably four inches of fiberglass. I've nailed trashcans, snow banks, all types of shit and not a crack yet. But I hope that I dont jinx myself.

Any car store, I got mine at Advance Auto Parts. Its in a blue metal jug. Just spread it over the backside of the bumper. In corners or sharp edges, like those crazy ass things on the bottom of the Blitz, put a lot in there. I think its called fiberglass resin or something. You can use any Bondo you want, reuglar bondo, lightweight, fiberglass, whatever.

Right now I have Blitz, but I want to switch over to a Black Widow front and keep the rest Blitz. I also want to custom make my own hood from a Black Widow for a Civic or Prelude or something. I know someone who did it with a Cougar and it look great, I would just have to find the right size.

I hate fiberglass. Its so weak. If I only had the money, I'd get a urethane front, like a Stillen. Just cracked my Sensei front recently really bad. O well, I guess I'll have to wait to have it fixed then.

i'm lucky (thanks to bambie) to have a second chance. yeah i voted for the urethane front, but i just don't like the look with my sides. only the rudora looked good with them and it's 600+ dollars. so i'm going with the stock front with lip.

Why urathane? If you hit something you going to crack the paint and not the bumber. Fiberglass is a ton times easier to fix and to mold. Your going to have to paint the bumber both ways anyhows.

Check out my site and you will see how much body work I had to do. 8 months worth

I'm thinking about keeping my stock front and rear and adding Aero Duro (Rudora for some of you guys) sideskirts....I think that would be different.
