#41262, "Interior Parts..."

Ws there somebody on here who said they had access to some avenger interior parts? If, not, then maybe somebody can help me anyways. I'l looking for the part that goes around the vents in the middle off the dashboard. I need the buttons also. The whole panel just comes right out, all you have to do is pull it out, and unplug the harnesses. If anyone can help, post it here or email me at CopperEclipseGS@aol.com. Or you can even IM me at CopperEclipseGS. Thanks.

You probably already know this but on eBay they have carbon fiber ones, but they dont hold the vents and stuff, they convert it over to hold three gauges. I like them, but I live in Indiana so I have to keep my vents. Alot of people just rewire the defrost and flashers over to the glovebox.

Actually thats why I wanted one, so I could make agauge pod. But those look ugly, so I want to make my own, from a stock one, with fiberglass. I plan on having the vents stock out a little bit, and have them angled towards the driver. Plus I think I am only going to have 2 gauges inside the car. Boost, and EGT, and the digital A/F gauge, because I have heard that the blinky light A.F gauges don't do too much. Doesn't a mechanical fuel pressure gauge go in the engine compartment, or am I wrong?

I'm pretty sure your right about having one under the hood, I would consider a A/F gauge a fun toy rather than a actual instrument, sometimes they dont even read right. But then again, they are alright and if you hook it up right im sure it does serve a purpose.

I heard that they work, but for actual tuning they aren't the best because they can't give as precise readings as a digital one. Maybe I will just get both, the blinky light ones look cool as hell. I could mount the digital one on top of the steering colums like corbin did (i think).

are you trying to do a custom job to kinda resemble the 3kGT?? They got 3 gauges in the middle top and stick out and kinda slant towards the driver.
