#40605, "Door handle shaving cost"

Hey all, the driver's door handle broke on me and I'm thinking about shaving the DH and putting poppers in. I am just trying to get a feel for cost. Anyone know ppl in the Boston area that would do the work?

Thanks

Marc

i probably guess about 100 to shave each door and about 200 to repaint each door. assuming you have an alarm alreay then the poppers should be about 40 bucks each. if not then you need a whole remote unti and those are around 100-150 or so. so i would say a total of 650-800

i dont know of anyone in Boston, but im gettin a door popper kit with an alarm installed for 300, plus 75 a door to prep, fill, and prime. So a total of 450.00 but then thats not including painting, but that is all separate, cause i am gettin my whole car repainted a lil later..

thanks,

with body work ur looking at 500 total to 650-700. $50 per door for popper kit, and 200 per door for paint/blend/smooth/bondo/sheet metal plates.

It's best to do it when ur planning on painting the whole car. 1000-2500 paint job and lil poppers in the door and you be pimpin!
