#40480, "Is this Expensive for a paint job??"

Well I called a couple body shops and this one stood out to me. He said that he could put my body kit on and paint my whole car (including door jams, engine bay. etc) with a good paint. (not like super show car material paint) But just a good paint with a pretty good finish for about $1500.00 Now I personally think this is a good deal! He said that he usually runs his paint jobs about 2000.00 but he told me he would go 1500.00 so I think that is pretty good! The color I told em I wanted was Highlighter Orange. So if you guys could let me know what ya think that would be great! Thanks,

-John. emoji

P.S. I am not sure if this includes the door handle shaving with the poppers and alarm. If it doesn't then I will just have that done before hand, its only 450.00 for the poppers with an alarm and filling and primering both doors.

I'd say it's a work in progress....WOULDN'T YOU!?

yeah he said its normally 2000.00 and up for his paint jobs but he would let me take it for 1500.00 including jams etc. I have seen his work before and i think its nice! Like i said the paint isnt SUPER SHOW QUALITY but its good enough to turn heads and say it looks nice. Which is what i want! I mean i am only 18 for crying out loud! Im not trying to win BEST PAINT JOB or anything, although..it would be nice....*drifts off thinking* ...........lol. Well thats what he told me though, so i figure what the hell lets try it! But i dont think i am going to get my kit molded to my car, cause then, if i decide to change it up in the future, its going to be a b**ch to do! But then again, i might just mold it though cause i have the BOMEX front (with fogs) and the rear so i dont think i am going to want to change it at all. Cause that kit is already TIGHT! I also have the invader sides...I am undecided at this time, lol..but anyways! Anyone else have input on this??

Thanks,

Allow the cheapie to butt in here...

I had mine painted for $290 at Earl Scheib. $40 extra per door jam

The yellow over spray was the fault of the last place I went to. Earl did great!

I got banned for being a constant tard.
