This guy in my city is selling some 8 lug universal 17" Motegi MR7 clones for $500. They look nearly flawless from the pics he gave me, I will post pics when I get home from work tonight.

They come with some Dunlops with 90-95% tread, 215/45/r17

As long as they aren't going on your eclipse go for it! Eclipse need a five bolt patern 5 X 114.5... so 8 lug wont work on the eclipse...

they came off of a 1G, they are 8 lug universal, so wouldn't that fit both 4 and 5 lug?

I think when they say 8 lug universal that they mean that the wheel will fit any 4 LUG car. There's no way that a 5 lug(10 bolt pattern) will accept a 4 lug(8 bolt pattern)wheel.

can someone please confirm this? I know I sound stupid, but I'd feel a lot more stupid if I bought these and they don't fit. I'd also feel stupid not buying them if they will fit because it seems like a pretty good deal.

no they wont fit. me and my friend tried to put some 8 lug universals on my car a LONG time ago. its only for 4 lug cars

as I take a 2nd look, these rims have 10 lug holes. he told me they were 8 lug. any input on this????

those will fit... they look to be 10 lug universals in the pic... i have 10 lug universals on my car.. but as posted above.. the best thing you can do is just go over there and test fit them on your car.. cant hurt to do that..

sorry man, $500 including tires and lugs, local pickup...how can you beat that. He gave me the receipt also, he paid $850 for the set not even a year ago. I did well imo.

I just think the real mr7's look better, and shipping @ summit racing is only 7 bucks but i guess you came up on some tires depending on what type they are.
