has anyone ever seen a blue carbon fiber hood? this guy on ebay sells carbon fiber hoods and if you read his feedback he has pretty good notes. but it says you can get a blue kevlar carbon fiber hood. now i have a silver car and my theme is blue. do you all think that would look good? i might get one of these.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2402330899&category=33646

he sent me this picture.

here is what it will be going on...

any ideas? let me know...

IMO dont think the blue would go too well... it would deffinately be different but thats not always good...why not try the silver hood...not really enough blue on the outside, hood would be too much of a contrast.

but if you want to make people stare...go for it...pure attention getter

I'd get it. Blue is cool. emoji You can't go wrong with CF. But before anything I would talk to the guy straight up about shipping issues. Seems to be a problem in that. Understand what he is going to do if it arrives broken or chipped.

I agree with ^^^^^ BLUE looks tight on our silver cars! Here are some pics of a few of my blue accents.

The Blue carbon/ kevlar looks bad as hell, I had one on my white eclipse until the damn thing delaminated and caused 3k worth of damage, but before that it was sick. You couldn't even tell it was blue until the right sunlight hit it. Mine was a fiberimages though. Only other thing with it is if you are turbo or are planning on going turbo, put the heat shielding back in or the carbon will burn and turn yellow. looks like ass. Other than those things I say go for it. You'll love it.
