#4009, "Carbonfibrermirrors M3 Style?"

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in Carbonfibrermirrors in M3style for Eclipses? If so....how much would it be possible to charge for them? Reason I am asking is that a friend of mine who works alot in carbonfibrer and I am thinking of starting a series of carbonmirrors for Eclipses depending on how many wanting them.We are thinking of a serie of 75-100 pieces. The mirrors will be in excellent quality and a adapterplate for the Eclipse is of course made too......They will not be electrical though as you might understand....*S*

I am just checkin interest here so pls add your opinions on this so we can decide wether or not to got through with this.Perhaps a club DSM could make a group buy or something..?

This is just plans so far but we can make them pretty fast if interest is good enough ..
We are thinking of chargin somewhere around 280$/ pair..... complete with plate and mirrors......unresenable or not?Donthink I am crazy here..I am just wenting and checkin.....*S*

I would be interested but....I would want power mirrors. its a good idea though, but doesn't someone else make these already? I thought there was, but they might be just regular and not carbon fiber.

APC makes them but i don't think they are real carbon fiber. They are like 70 bux.

How much for just fiberglass M3 mirrors instead of carbon fiber ones?

Well regular in fiberglass wouldnt be that much....could check and see how much we could sell them for...

The power part will be tough though since we dont have engines and stuff to make powers.....so they will be manual...

And I know some ppl have made "carbon" mirros...they are looka likes..not real carbon.....we would have the entire housing+plate in genuine carbon so....

We will see what happen emoji)

i am intersted on one condition, you make them in the APC Road vision generation 2 style. the gen-1's suck (the m3 style) they look ok but the gen-2's are so much more sleek looking. if you make them G2's in carbon fiber im in for as much as $200, fiberglass and ill give ya up to $150. the APC "carbon fibers" are not carbon fiber and APC doesnt make the G2's for our cars.

Are the gen 2 the ones that look kind of like the rudora mirrors? I want those in fiberglass so i can paint them to match my car color.
But GSwede only has the mold for the M3 mirrors, which i still want but in fiberglass.

Well I can make eurostyle mirrors in carbonfibrer or glassfibrer too..and htey will be a little cheaper then M3 style. If you want to know how they look like go to my page and check....
http://come.to/GSwede96

They are the stock euro ones and they are different from US version....perhaps htey are more interesting to have then M3?
The M3version you can check on my page too..pics from the show....but I painted mine red since I made mine in glassfibrer
