I want to make a custom ram air set up on my hood by cutting a hole in the bump of my hood. I have someone that can do work with bondo and fiberglass so thats covered. What tools will i need and what is the process for doing this. Im only asking because i dont want to mess this up, i just need a little more input from you guys. Please dont tell me not to do this or your wasting your time. I want it done. Im planning on installing mesh where the hole is and whatever else you guys suggest. Thanks for your help

well i got a red hood with no hump if you want it. i was working on making fiberglass hoods but lost time when i got my new job. the hood i got is missing the hump though. email if you want it.

Get an air nibbler or chizzle on an air hammer. Get some sheet metal or an old hood of anything from a junkyard to practice. Draw out your hole, drill a starter hole (inside the line of course) then just follow your line. It's not that hard, but practice practice practice. Don't try your first time on YOUR HOOD...i guarntee you'll fuck up and hate yourself.

I would sugjust haveing one welled on. If you were to just cut it you would have the glass and bondo lift off after a few months. If welled to the hood it would never happpen

i remember a thread on 240sx.org about making your own predator hood, it looked kinda difficult, i will post a link if i can find it
