when you first get into them they feel tight and restrictive. well, i guess thats how they are supposed to feel. but after like 2 times you get used to them. i think they are more comfortable than the stock seats. but that's me. i can drive for hours and hours and not have any fatigue in my butt or back being that the seats were designed for rally racing. the one thing though, now since the seats are getting a little older, the cloth is getting holes in it. but that is an easy thing to reupholster. they weigh only 6 pounds each.

Actually the opposite is true, unlike your standard dollar movie theater seats, these seats are constructed of carbon and kevlar fibers, they als are designed to support your body during high velocity runs and high g turns. Also, the seats are anatomically designed by race engineers that take input from rally drivers and touring car drivers as to what is needed to make the seat as confortable and supportive as possible. I have driven for 4 hours straight in these seats and had zero fatigue in my back, butt and arms. I do have to comment that my back does get a little sweatier in these seats because of their glove like fitting nature, but I do think you are very mistaken about the comfort and fit of racing seats. These companies spend millions in the design and testing of these seats. there is a reason that they use these seats in the most grouling racing conditions, you don't see anyone racing on a stock eclipse seat.
