#39382, "how much to get sideskirt fixed" Jan-24-03 09:15 AM by soldier101
I got my kit in today, but obviously the shipping company doens't understand what "fragile" means cause the box looked as if it had been run over, luckily everything inside is perfectly fine with exception of one of my sideskirts, it has 3 cracks about the size of a quater each in it, how much do you guys think it would cost to get that fixed?
everything except the skirts are goin on this weekend, skirts go on after i get them fixed

Um.. did you inspect them before you accepted the shipment? You might have gotten the shipping company to either fix the sideskirt or replace it. You might have pay to fix it yourself now. I know nothing about bodywork so I can't help you there.

i opened the box and checked it out, it looked ok, then when i got the detailed wrapping off i noticed the small chips

you could fix then your self with fiberglass resin, just tape up the botom under the crack to dam it up, and then fill the crevice with resin, then dry, and then sand. its actually pretty easy

what kind of kit was it? i have a blitz kit, but i dont like the look on the side skirts, so i busted one with a bat. and i still have the other one. it the passenger side of the car. i think the stock gst skirts look better. just have to find a pair now. anyway, if you can maybe get me some stock skirts, ill send ya the remaining skirt if its the one you need. ......
