Run the wire to the ECU under the hood. There should be a white wire with black stripe on it. That's the wire that most people have run their air/fuel gauge too. Hope that helps.

I tapped mine into the wire from the O2 sensor right by the drivers seat that runs along the center console under the carpet. One less wire to run throught the firewall.
Edit: I'll go into a little more detail. From under your drivers seat you'll see one or more wires come up. One of those is your o2 sensor wire. now take the panel on the drivers side of your center console off and pull the carpet back a few inches. You'll see a small black wire loom with about three or so wires running in it. Cut about an inch of the loom off to expose the wires (DO NOT CUT ANY OF THE WIRES WHILE YOU DO THIS) Just be careful while you cut the loom. I just pinched the wires o one side of the loom and cut a small hole with a wire cutter on the other side, and the just made it bigger. When the wires are exposed then just tap into the white wire with the black stripe and your good to go. Good luck

Maybe i'm not understanding properly, but if you tapped into that o2 sensor behind the cat converter, the one where the wires go up into the car under the driver seat, then you got the wrong o2 sensor for a/F monitoring. You need to get the front o2 sensor that actually monitors your air/fuel ratio. So did i understand something wrong, on how you have it connected??
