my advice to you...........If you have a black car, get black G3 altezzas, If white or silver, get clear or smoked, if not just paint your center and leave it, crome dose not look cool so do NOT just get plain altezzas, you will take them off in a few months like the rest of us.

PS..... any altezzas will leak nomater what brand

"HADITB4U" I think not... hehe

just kidding emoji

CF tails look good on a lot fo cars, I can't imagine anything but stock on my car though. This is hard color to make a color scheme with.

You can always open up the altezzas and paint them the same color as the car.

Or you can try something custom with the stock tails.

I was the first on the board to do this 2.5 years ago..... Just use a hairddryer and carefully pry it apart. Or the oven will work too!

How would I seal it back up and everything? Did the hair dryer make it easy enough? If not, how hot should the oven be, and how long? Thanks.

Well, I put mine in the over at 250 for about 10 minutes and the plastic lenses came right off. To seal them back up I put them back in the oven, just reusing the glue that was already on the lights. My lights don't let any condensation in at all, but I know most people use clear silicon to seal up the lights better.

sounds like the same process as takin apart the headlights. Has any one tried to pry the red plastic off the stock taillights from the inside to make clear ones? it works for the 300z

THANKS A LOT!!!! I put the tail lighs in the ove, just like you said...250 for 10 minutes, and it worked great! The lens came right out. Thank you so much man. I have been trying to do this for so long, and now i finally can. Now all I have to do is wait until it warms up, so i can paint them. Thanks one more time!
