my car rattles so much and its fucking pissing me off a real lot now, i can hear almost everything from the engine to the exhaust(before i had the gst muffler and had a magnaflow)to the tread of my tires, to all of the noises of the road under me. I think alot mf the problem is because i was foolish and though taking the whole hatch part of my car apart, i got carried away taking out the spare and jack then went to take out ALL of the plastic pieces. I hate all the the noise and buzzing shit i hear from everything. What can i do? Does anyone else have this problem and what did you do to fix it. My friend just totalled his avenger which i got my leather interior from. Do the avengers have the same parts in the back of their cars that i can take out and restore mine to normal. If anyone has most of the back pieces to the car for sale i will buy them. If the avenger stuff fits i am thinking about spraying everything with sound deading stuff like dynamat sells or some other companies do, then installing dynamat extreme on top of the spray, and then finishing it all off with the stock rear interior pieces. How does that sound to you guys? I think that would stop ALL rattles and take almost every noise out of the interior, because i mean the car runs perfect, its just them bastard rattles from the interior. I think with the spray, then dynamat, then interior pieces the ride will be in comparison to a brand new lexus, mercedes, or BMW. thanks for listening to this long ass thing, lol. but who can answer if the back pieces of the avenger will fit?

thats why everyone has a system in their eclipse, so they can't hear all the rattling.

If you still have the rear panels in the car, the speaker grilles rattle like crazy. They can be tightened from the back side.

If you are like me, your hatch cover sits directly on top of your rear strut bar and rattles. I found that a little foam insulating tape where they contact and around the bottom of the cover worked wonders.

btw. don't avengers have a trunk, where as our cars have a hatch? I don't recall.

The only rattles i have is from the taillights when the system is on. Dynamat eliminated alot from the hatch and doors.

I have the same problem. I haven't had time to attempt a fix yet, however, I believe I have diagnosed the problem. I have taken apart the plastic pieces that you use to access the taillights and center piece (as in the entire pieces). The rattling in my car is coming from those pieces rattling up against the metal that it covers. I too am going to insulate the shit out of it. I am dynomating the whole damn thing from bow to stern or else I'm gonna go crazy. I have to fix this before I finish fiberglassing my speaker enclosure. ANyways, I feel u man......one of those things that just really pisses u off. And the rattling windows!

Does anyone know how to stop the dash from rattling. On mine the passenger side vibrates and makes this wierd sound from 2k-3k rpm and not at any other time. Its almost like its the glove box or right around it.

I was right there with him untill the light turned green.

i have all the problems that you listed plus all the problems that everyone else listed.....i usually just turn the music up.....real high. but i totally hear you when you say it's fucking annoying. i can't stand it!!! part of my problem is the clips that attach the plastic cover piece to the metal body of the hatch. not all of the clips are in place...so i hear them rattle. plus i hear the rear windshield(i think) rattle from my exhaust vibrations. I think it's a combination of the cold weather(makes the metal contract a little) and my suspension setup. i could be wrong though.
