most've us bought from brucesspeed.com just give 'em a call and tell 'em you're from 2gnt. you wont' find it on their site. it's that hanabi 9000k HID kit. umm if you've got stock lights you're good. just order the 9006 bulb size. if you upgrade to projectors they won't work though. if you change your lights the only ones that'll work is the dual projectors. those use the same bulb size (9006). regular projectors use h3 bulbs. k hope that helped. HID's kick ass. you'll like 'em . check out sonikbewm's posts. he's got nice pics.

You guys just have the HID's on the low beams right? So you never use your highbeams anymore do you? They'd just get drowned out in the HID's correct?

isn't it the 8000k kit and not the 9000k kit (didn't know about an 9k kit)

jsut checking but i though it was the 8000k hanobi kit...

went to local shop they charged him 530$ for a HID while iw as there OUCH!

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.

well..

6000k is the pure white, like the mercedes
7000k is the purplish tint, like the bmws
8000k is the pure white with more blue tint than the 6000k

im not sure, but i think the 9000k is one shade bluer.

With the HIDs, would it be better to have projector headlights or will it look just fine, and be as bright with only the stock headlights? Like if I was going to get the kit, would I be just as satisfied hooking them up to my stock headlights?

I liked the HID kit better when it was in my stock headlight housings. The projectors caused more glare, therefore people were high beaming me a lot more with the projectors as opposed to the stock headlight housings.

www.brucesspeed.com I got mine last month, but I have yet to install them. No garage and snow with 0- weather hasn't helped. emoji I got the 8k one. And yes you have to call and have access to a fax machine to order.

no highbeams are not pointless....when you have 6300k highs... Having both the www.mccullochhid.com kit and the hanabi 8000k hids... they are both nice kits. The mcculloch though is much better quality when you look at the components. I had bought the 6300k kit before the hanabi though...it was a good price i just couldnt pass up. so now I have 2 kits for under 500. my problem...use them as high beams or buy some cheap little plastic fogs and rig them to that somehow?

I do a lot of driving to fresno/ visalia and having a farm up there in the middle of nowhere I do a lot of driving on country roads...(no lights).

Has anyone used the 5000k hyper white bulbs? I found them for about 10.00 on ebay. If anyone does have them how close to the 6k or 7k are they?
