My rear hatch struts no longer hold up the hatch and it is driving me crazy! Have any of you replaced yours and where did you get them other than from satan? They look pretty easy to replace.

as far as i know the best place to get them would be the dealership.. you will need to get a special torx bit for the upper bolts on the struts, but all in all a pretty straight forward replacement. should run about 50-60 to replace both. well worth it if they are bad, cause then you wont have to worry about holding the hatch up emoji

Yea they are definantly shot... I need new ones pretty bad, it sucks trying to lift that hatch with no help from them and your hands full of stuff...
I just wanted to know if there was anywhere else to get them other than from the dealer.

F that, mines have almost had it. 50% of the time they're fine. Kragen can order em, but they are suposedly 75 bucks each. I'l stick with my broken ones. Maybe I can find em online somewhere. emoji

$50 or $60 for both? Really? Where is this at? I know the Mitsubishi dealer in TN, they told me that they were going to run like $90 a piece. That's why I haven't even messed with them. Tell me if you can find some cheap ones!!
