How much are you getting the screens for. I can get 4 inch monitors for $200 apeice. They have 3 wires one power one ground, and a remote power wire. The only other connector is 1 rca cable that connects to the video out of the dvd player. If i were you I would get a playstation 2 instead of a indash dvd player. You get both in 1 unit.

dude.... does it come with any wiring? if not.. then you're gonna be in big mess... it is not easy at all to make them work... (that's as far as i know, since i wanted to do that a looooooong time ago) I've seen 4" screens for somewhere around 100 bucks.. with video In and power wire.. on some website.. its not a "sharp" but it'd save you alot of head ache.. if you want i can look up for that website.. or get one at ebay.. they go for around 180 for 5inches or 5.6" not sure on that one..

sweet please do. i would like to see what a 5" costs. thanks
p.s. those screens were off of damaged cameras that the 3" lcd screen was fine but the lens for the camera wasnt or something like that. i would have to strip down the camera and find all of the correct wireing (hastle but cheaper) >???

well.. its a hastle but cheaper... but i don't remember why.. for some reason I think its not going to work..... but not quite sure why.. ( i guess i'm getting old heh' (20) emoji) anyways.. but if its 30 bucks.. its worth a try... even though (personally 3 inches is too small) anyways.. go to http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?&DID=7&WebPage_ID=41 and they have 5.6" for 200 dollars, 4" for 100 and couple of others. all ready to be mounted... (for the 4" screen you are going to have to make a enclosure) umm aaaaaaa... what else?? yah.. go to ebay.. search for.. LCD screens or something like that and you'd get alot of 5" and 5.6" made by Pyle.

as far as the dvd player goes.... well.. personally i wanted to put a computer in the car.. and play all my mp3's and stuff.. but it's a big hastle with alot of components... it'd nearly cost me around 1000 dollars to 1200.. and for that amount i can easily buy a lap toP (small one) with dvd and everything in it.. and i could still get a digital image quality.. but why not buy a stage 1 turbo instead of all this??
tooo much stuff to buy .. in too lil' time (or not much money emoji)

on the side note... if your 3" lcd screens don't work. then it'd run you nearly the same amount of money as a hand held dvd player with 5" screen on it....

These are prices for raw monitor i think the have a trim plate. these are extremely easy to hook up.

A waring if you are going to try to hook up the LCD from the camera, its not going to work. The camera dosnt work on 12v from the car. Also there will probaly be a bunch of wires coming from the screen cause the prossesing system is not built into the screen. I was gana try to hook up a Laptop LCD into my car, but I would need a vido card to run it, and so on. So I hope your ready for the challange.
