Few questions...

1) What steps are needed to paint something successfully? Ive already sanded down the original paint. Do I need to sand it down in between coats of paint?

2) Should I clearcoat it? What do I need to do in order to prep the paint?

3) After clearcoat is applied how do I make it look good? How do I wetsand something?

Sorry for ignorant questions, I am just trying to make this look nice in stead of doing it half-ass. Thanks

Im just bored, lotsa time on my hands. The intake was powdercoated a bright red and does not match. I am going to paint it maroon, probably not quite the same as my car but should be close. I think that will look sweet.

And yeah I got tired of the car being a 4x4, once you are lowered it is hard to go back I guess.

What's needed to paint an anodized strut tower bar? Just sand, prime and paint? I'd like to know, probably for the same reason as ^^^, I don't want to F it all up. TIA

Sand it down real well...rub it with alcohol...then apply a primer. Maybe two coats of primer. Wait for that to dry then apply 1 coat...wait a few hours and apply another one...then another...then another. Make sure you apply thin coats and be very patient. After you are satisfied with your coats...wait a few more hours and apply a few clear coats.
