I want to paint my calipers, brakes, whatever to make it look better. I have chrome rims and looks real nice till you notice the ugly looking rust right behind where the rims are attached (dont know the name, sorry ) If I paint it chrome then it will match my rims, but dont want it to look tacky or ugly. What color should I paint it? and what brand paint should I get?

OK, first big question is... What color is your car? I would suggest either a match or a perfect contrast. Some type of highlight. As for brand of paint, if you don't mind spending the money get it done by a body shop with actual automotive paint. It will look great and it will hold up well. And yes it will handle the heat! I have all my engines painted at the body shop. If you want to do it yourself then I would suggest a brand name of engine enamel. Not the $.99 stuff!

Whatever color you paint it DON'T use regular spray paint! Either caliper paint or like said above a body shop of some sort that has high temp paint. I think it was someone on this board a long time ago that painted with regular spray paint and ended up with a smoke screen
