#37544, "HID questions"

I already did a search and I got some really good answers through this. But in the threads where everyone is talking about the HIDS there are terms that I hve no clue what they mean. Like the diggerent bulb types, and connectors. All I really need to know here is if I buy a set will they fit in place of my old ones with no re-wiring and me just buting new stock bulbs. TIA

as long as you don't switch to projectors (with the exception of gen 3 duals) you're good. just buy an HID kit in the 9006 bulb size - which is our stock size. if you get projectors you're outta luck - they take h3 bulbs. if you get dual projectors you keep the same size bulbs and can still use your HID kit.

Get dual projectors with the HID kit. It looks so badass. You can see the road so much better.

Yes, that is my car with the dual projectors and HID from my post. The projectors use the stock size bulbs and the wire harness. You have to cut the wire harness out of your old headlight housings and use them in the projectors.

ya seriously! what he said ^^^ that's what i'm doin. hehe. it's cool b/c you can just buy your HID's now and use them with your stock lights and keep 'em when you upgrade to projectors. they look pretty nice in his post, don't they? }>
