#3733, "Center windshield wiper mod ???"

Does anyone have information about a company or has anybody succesfully modified the windshield wiper so that its in the center , like on the Mercedes?? Ive seen them on Neons and CRX's so I was wondering if anybody had any info. Any help would be good. "Drive it like ya stole it!"

I with these guys, it's a bit ricey man, unless your in Grand Touring Racing. But, if you must do it....all you have to do is relocate the passenger side wiper arm and take off the driver's side one. Take it off and adjust it where you want it in the off position. Just make sure it doesn't go far enough to hit the driver's side pillar when it is on.

LAST EDITED ON 04-May-01 AT 09:28 AM (PST)

Hey thanks for the advice, I was just curious if any one had any input.. I dont get to see many mods here in Iowa. Its starting to catch on more and more the last couple of years. So when I went to N.C. I saw like 5x's the number of tuners, some of them were sweet...It just caught my eye..

yeah the trick here is to look clean, wild, and not rice. If you think it looks silly, chances are it is RICE.

I had it on my Merkur a few years back and its coolif you get it right....but as htey say above...close to ric emoji

I just removed pass side wiper and relocated the driverside wiper on its "tap" sp that it started and ended where I wwanted it to..What you need to do though is change the lenght of the arm the wiper is attached to since the arm goes around and around..not back and forth..that means you need to make the way the wiper runs longer..and you do that by making that arm longer....
Weird to explain in english but mail me if you want more info on it...
