#37137, "GST sideskirts on an ESI question"

Any of you guys put GST or TSI sideskirts and door caps on your ESI?
If so did you have to take off the factory side molding on he door for them to fit?
Im thinking of getting some but Im not sure if I want to mess with the body work to fill in the holes for the ESI trim.
Thanks
~Luke

I'm sure they would fit, but you would have to take the molding off. I really like the way your car looks now and wouldn't change it. Just my $.02!

Huh? I have an esi, an earlier model than yours. But the eclipse skirts went right on, nothing to take off. I didnt put on doorcaps tho. I guess your later model talon has something I dont....

I posted something similar a while ago and somebody posted a picture of a white Esi with the side moldings taken off and the skirts from a TSI-AWD. I think the skirts looked real good on the car, and I hate the side moldings, but with a stock front and rear, the body lines were just missing, the way the front bumper leads into the doors, which leads into the rear...looks like something is missing.

I cant tell from the last pic if it looks good or not. Seems like Talon lines wont blend in with the square eclipse skirt lines. I cant tell. That car is crazy tho.

if it doesnt blend in, and like I said I cant tell, you could just get Talon skirts. They are the raciest looking skirts out of 95-96eclipse, 97-99eclipse and 95-95talon and 97-98talon. Id say they look the 'strongest'.

might be hard to find though
