#37124, "CF hood fitment problem"

i just got a CF hood yesterday. when we installed it there was a big gap on the driverside, between the hood and fender. i loosen the bolts on the fender and had someone push on the fender to bring it in alittle closer to the hood. it pushed closer on the front but not the back(driverside mirror corner). any suggestions on how to get rid of the gap? TIA

I had the same problem with mine, the best I could do was just to even the gap between the drivers sides and the pass. side. You might have to take the hood back off and drill the bracket holes bigger so you have some adjustment. But if you move it too far the latch won't line up...

for $150, you get what you pay for. It's probably one of those free hoods that all he paid was shipping. Maybe it was free b/c fitment was bad. Some smaller companies don't make stuff that fits well either. You are gonna have to try moving stuff to get it closer. VIS and fiberimages hoods are the best. I would be willing to bet the aerogear hoods fit nice too. I dunno about any others. Get some pics up if u can to show us how it looks/fits.
