OK, I can answer this since this is what I do for a living. You are going to need to take out the old windshield if there is still one in there, at my shop we use a vibrating knife and a nice little tool called the equalizer. I doubt that you'll have either though. Once the windshield is out, take a box knife and cut out all the old urethane so it is nice and smooth all the way around where the windshield sits. Next, you are going to want to clean the inside of the new windshield and wipe all around the edge of the glass with alcohol or primer for auto glass. Now, make a nice smooth bead of urathane (for windshields) all the way around where you cut off the old stuff. Once you do that, set the new windshield in. Have someone help you do that cause I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to do yourself. You don't want to move the glass around much after you set it because the urethane will smear everywhere and make a real nasty mess. Put the windshield molding back on and DO NOT drive it for at least 1 hour to allow the urethane to set. Also, for the rest of the day when you shut the doors leave the windows cracked down a little bit so the pressure can be released, otherwise you might blow part of the urethane seal and have an air leak. The only real pain in the ass is getting the old windshield out. After that it is easy. Good luck!
