#36575, "touch up paint"

hey, I just went to satan today and got the correct paint using my vin#....but now I need to know the best way to apply it. I've got a spot, not a scratch, right at the top of my sideskirt, where the paint has chunked off (I don't know how, the cars a '99).
Anyone have paint experience?...possible instructions on how I can make it look perfect?

Thanks,
~E

well i just got my car back from the paint shop a few weeks ago... they told me that if i ever needed to use touch up paint to cover a flake or something, to use the end of a match.

the part that rips out of the match book, not the part that lights.

they said to put a tiny bit on and just brush it in and do that once every 2 weeks until the paint is level with the other paint.

dont know how you would go about fixing scratches though, but that worked for me when a piece flaked off

you can fix scratches the same way.....I was hoping to find a little bit more detail on how to best do this....satan told me that there is'nt clear coat mixed in and that that needs to be done seperately after I'm done. Satan might be wrong.....gee that'd be something new emoji
