just did this this weekend....
1. open door
2. roll up window
3. unscrew bolt on the inside of door jamb near the handle. (10mm?)
4. pry out little clamp in between the window crank if you are an RS or GS ( i know ur a GS-T, but just sayin)
5. unscrew all screws around door skin, and remove door panel off door.
6. peel back plastic wrap backing from nasty glue shit, unscrew the door actuator of the aftermarket alarm (little black tube thingy with ridges on it, just push the rod in the door and out of your way)
7. remove 3 star torx bolts on side of door, and slide the lock latches down and away slightly, but leave kinda in there, and try to not let it drop. If so, no big deal, just a pain to get to it again
8. try to pull handle out a little bit and remove the plastic white clip holding the door lock mechanism to the little gold metal rod on the upper right of the handle. (when facing the outside of the door)
9. remove clip from top left of door handle (when facing outside of door) and slide the door keylock out of the back of the old handle.
10. reach your hand inside and you will see one remaining screw holding the handle in. Loosen it with a phillips or a tiny socket. It helps to have small hands for this.
11. slide the old handle out
12. put new handle in
13. put keylock back in, slide little c-clamp back into the slot to hold it in
14. with new handle hanging out kinda, pull gold rod back up and put the white clip back around it for the door lock mechanism
15. slide handle in all the way
16. tighten that hard to get screw back inside there with an angle screwdriver or socket
17. put 3 star torx bolts back in and tighten the door jamb lock back into the side of the door.
18. put the screw back in the side of the door that is holding the side of the handle in (10mm), don't forget to put your door actuator or power door lock assembly back on if you have an aftermarket remote/alarm)
19. put door skin back on
20 roll winder down
21. test door, lock it, unlock it, manually and with ur remote.
