#36193, "Installing Stock Sideskirts? HOW???"

Im going to install some 97-99 stock sides on my 95 RS, I just wanna ask if there is any other way of installing them without using those plastic retainers like just holding the skirts with screws or double tape?...Any help would be so appreciated. Thanks!

Double tape will NOT hold. It wont even hold the highest piece of the skirt against my car.

Use the plasitc things.

The sideskirts that I received only got the white plastic things on them, Is there like other pieces that you put inside the holes in the car? What are they and where can I get those? Thanks for the info guys...

drill the holes in ur car....slide the white grommets into the actual skirt...pop the skirt/grommet into the hole and push really hard until they snap in there. dont confuse a snap with the plastic actually breaking, they are very fragile

I know this isn't really an anwer to yer question at all, infact it's a question in itself. I myself am in the process of ordering a Urethane Blitz front Bumper. I didn't want the whole kitted up look, just an aggressive front. But I own a 97 rs, ie no skirts and I was just wondering does it look THAT bad without side skirts?? either way I'm getting the front bumper, and do not wish to buy skirts only if it looks horrible. I know the majority will tell me to get it, but it's the $$ factor and I want something clean. If I were to get any skirts I'd get the stocks or the combats. anywho, I was just wondering if u had any pics of the front blitz and the car minus side skirts. Well tell me what you think.

Can someone please post pics of gs+ sideskirts with and without the door caps? If I see a comparison picture then my confusion about what door caps really are will be over. THANX

Ok...I see now, but I would really have to see one without door caps in person to determine if I like them better than with the caps. I can't wait until I get some skirts, cause these cars don't look very good without them. IMO

I have no caps, I like it better. But, it looks kinda..... Not stock. And Im a stock kinda guy, not aftermarket.

Anyways, I drilled a few holes on the bottom of the car to hold the skirt on and used cold weld and JB weld to hold it on tightly. Ghetto, but works.

I got banned for being a constant tard.

evil flea, what's your next mod exterior wise and overall what are you going to do next to your car? Another thing, I think some clear side markers would look nice on your bumper, why don't you put them in, j/w?
