if i were to get some carbon fiber/kevlar fabric like this

to make a cover for the back seat area(so i don't have to have my back seat in) what would i need to coat it in, so that it has that hard, shiny surface?

are you making a cover to go over your seats or are you taking the seats out and making a cover to go over the floor?

if your just recovering your seats I'd say about a yard. If you're recovering the floor if you take the seats out I'd say about 1.5 yards, maybe 2 just to be on the safe side(if you're doing the trunk too)

heres the blue I found on there

just a warning...If your getting CF weave, id suggest not doing that and instead getting a fake CF lookalike fabric. CF is not soft and wouldnt be comfortable to sit on. Also, CF will start to fall apart if used as a normal cloth, as it was designed to be hardend.

I don't think he's planning on keeping his rear seats.

I'd estimate about 1 or 2 gallons. I'm not positive though as I haven't really had a chance do do anything with carbon fiber on my own yet. Maybe email those guys and tell them approx how much area you want to cover with cf and they can give you a close amount of resin you'll need
