Okay man, need your help yet again. I got my sidekirts on today. They look great. I used one screw on the front wheel well, 1 on the back wheel well, and 2 across the center part of it -- the ones that screw downward under the door. I didn't want to dril into the side of my car, so I used an adhesive double-sided tape made just for this kind of thing. So the top of the scoops are "adhesed" to the car.
The skirts are very sturdy, but have a problem. You can see the screws I used even when the door is shut...and it doesn't look very good. Do I just paint the screws, or did I mount something wrong, please help, thanks.

If the screws that are supposed to go under the door are showing, you probably mounted it wrong somehow. You shouldn't be able to see the screws since the door should close "over" them. See if maybe you didn't drill close enough to the edge of the skirt.

I am really considering drilling above the scoop and putting one screw into the side of the car. If I did this, and I did want to return to stock eventually, could that hole be taken care of somehow? This double sided adhesive isn't working as well as I would like it too.

I've helped Ryan with this fiasco, and it's been "okay" so far. (I feel much more comfortable installing coilovers and turbos though)
The side skirts look good, although there doesn't seem to be a logical place on the skirts to hold the upper scoop part to the side of the car. I know Cyan said he used only screws. That doesn't seem possible with Ryan's setup as his side skirt top wants to stick out unles we use double-sided tape. The problem is we're questioning the effectiveness of the tape. I think it's the only way to go, and seems to work well, but he's not convinced of it's durability. (that's why he mentions using a screw?!?! ...how he wants to go about that without any detrimental visibility is beyond me though)
I know I'm not an expert on this, so we'd appreciate anyones' advice.

Most shops will drill into the side of the car (which will leave a hole if you ever take off the side skirts). Some people then get the whole thing bondo'd to the car so its completely blended, but it usually will crack after some time. There is no other way if you don't use a screw. Try a LOT of double sided tape maybe because that stuff it supposed to be pretty sticky. Good luck. But just to let you know, most people do have to drill into the side of the car, which would be a pain to "undo" if you want to take off the skirts (reweld and repaint that entire area).
