How do you take it off without setting the airbag off? Also how do you get rid of the passenger side airbag? Thanks

steering wheel- disconnect negative battery for a few. Take bolts out, etc. Pretty much self explainatory once u get the bolts out. u need a steering wheel puller if u are taking the wheel off. I think the passenger air bag requires u to remove the lower dash and get bolts out thru the bottom. No idea. Get a chiltons to help ya.

i aint gonna be much help but ive seen some guy take off my steering wheel and like 9D9 said, disconnect your negative battery, there are 4 screws i believe on the back of the wheel, and you have to disconnect the plug connecting the airbag after you remove the screws.

i think i went out for a smoke when he took the actual steering wheel off so i missed that part hehe

Chiltons Manual is the best thing you can by for your car IMO

now how do you get rid of the airbag light now? hmm... I heard you can yank the bulb, put some kinda resistor, or put tape over it.

I just ignore the light. IMO- it'll burn out eventually. emoji With the driver airbag gone, will the passenger bag still work? I have wondered about that since the SRS light is on and all.

noi idea. when I had to pull the momo hub off, it was stuck good. I used the puller for the stocker and it pulled off easy. I honestly didn't try pulling it 1st. I had always heard it wouldn't slide right off.

I haven't taken the eclipse wheel out but for MR2s and AE86s I just loosen the bolt a bit and whack it really hard with a hammer.

you can yank the hell out of it, guard your face tho. emoji
The momo hub has no way of being hooked to by a puller. So, I didn't like the way it sat, so I took it back off. I put an extension or ratchet (think I tried both) in between the spokes and yanked back a couple times and it flew at me. emoji
