Sagging looks like the bumper is melting in few spots..

Try imagining that emoji

It is bad, some people try to fix it themselves emoji

They try heat, to melt it, and put it back, or re-inforcements.

The re-inforcments hold it up, but that's like a temporary fix IMO..

DON'T TRY TO FIX IT WITH HEAT, BECAUSE THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT YOU WOULD MESS THE BUMPER UP DOING THAT..

Get fiber glass or blue glass... you can easily fix it up with bondo and touch up paint emoji ..

If anything happens to the urethane, you would need to change the whole bumper which = alot of $$$ , because you can't fix it..

Mine sagged in the middle, at the bottom along the lip/mouth. I simply used some aluminum angle brackets at Home Depot and it acts as a brace to support it. You never know it's there. Looks great.

The only thing I dont like is my headlight gaps though. Oh well. Someone backed into my ass doing 40 in my apt complex and his tailpipe digged into the bumper after I just got it painted. I sighed relief when all that happened was chipped paint and a little nick. Gotta love urethane. *sighs* emoji

on the other hand, I scrape/bottom out, bla bla everywhere I go and my bumper is still holding strong, if you go fiberglass tho, make SURE you get 5oz reinforced glass or else you'll be breaking it like crazy

well, it should be just plain 5 oz. fiberglass, you'll see it with the "name brand" bumpers.

If your gonna go fiberglass then make sure it's hand laid fiberglass and not blown. 95% of the fiberglass kits out there are blown, All of Kaminari's parts are hand laid. It doesn't matter what grade fiberglass you get, it's crap if isn't hand-laid. I had a 6 o.z. blitz front that was blown, even though it was 6 o.z., it had spots that you could see through with a flashlight behind it because of the un-evenness(?). A lady hit me going 15 mph thru a parking lot and it completely ruined my front, shattered into pieces. When I called the manufacturer of the kit about the quality, they laughed and said "it's blown fiberglass, not hand laid, what you expect it to be perfect" I now have urethane and it was well worth the extra $75 I paid for it.

Yeah hand laid is better. But if ANYONE hit ANY fiberglass bumper at 15 mph on impact, there is no way that bumper would survive. Fiberglass doesn't like to flex, so it's kind of like hitting a thin wall. The wall will want to break if there is excess pressure on it.

Personally, I just went ahead and bought the whole urethane kit. I laid $660 shipped. I decided on the urethane after my friend just got a fiberglass kit on his Integra. He pulled up on a curb just a little and it split the whole front end! He has since bought the urethane. Many people told me Urethane couldn't be worked with. This is not true. I have seen this being done on an eclipse at High Tech collision. They were molding his urethane sideskirts. I think it just takes a different type of resin. I would recommend Urethane all the way. Everyone I know with fiberglass has had problems.

sagging can easily be fixed with lower reinforcements, it also strenthns the bumper ( more secure). any experienced bodyshop would know about this method.
