#34530, "am i crazy? proj headlights question"

i got the 97-99projector headlights installed on my car....not sure if i used 50 or 100 watt bulbs when i installed the new ones...but regardless, it seems like my old 95-96 headlights seemed brighter and not only that...

i figured the projector headlights would emit a full circle light beam...but it appears it emits a half circle...am i crazy? or is it supposed to do that..

it emits the lower half of the circle and the upper half looks like something is blocking it...but when i look at the actual light itself, there arent any stickers or bars blockin it...

so am i crazy or did i just get a bum pair of headlamp assemblies, or is that how its supposed to be?

Sorry to tell you this after you got them but those projectors are junk. They are nowhere near as bright as regular headlights.

I put in projectors into my car a few weeks ago...yea they do give a wider view but they are defently not as bright....but thats ok...im going to go ahead and order a pair of CATZ bulbs for the projectors to take care of the problem

When I did my stock 95-96 lights to stock 97-99 lights the range seemed to be dimished. It seems like the light cuts off abruptly and doesn't travel as far as the 96 lights. I have PIAA bulbs and with the 97 lights they give a bluer tint to my lights now..hmmmm
