Wussup people?? I am changing out my rotors this weekend for some power slot rotors and I was wondering how hard it is to paint the calipers at the same time. Does anyone have any advice or tips for doing this? TIA.

not hard i did mine in black. i bought a kit for like 35 that included everything i needed. cleaner, high temp black and high temp clear for a good finish. just make sure you give it a few good coats. i saw a VW that really looked shitty cause he didnt take his time. he did it in like prob 5 min per side and you can tell. alot of over spray and shit. not good. well hope this helps

I did mine with the rotors still on... took a plastic bag and wrapped it around the rotor (leaving only the caliper showing, then took other bags, and covered the rest of the area, including the fender (you don't want overspray on the paint, big no - no ). i din't clean them, or anything (but i would brush them off, make sure there are no chunks of crap on them...) then i just used hi temp paint (white) and did one lite coat then 2 heaver coats. i try to do this once a year, considering they are white... then when i clean my car i just make sure to hit them with a little tire cleaner and brush...

I just bought a kit to do mine. A little expensive but i comes with a cleaner, primer, high temp paint, cup stirrer and brush, so you don't have to worry about overspray. Not that it matters I'm taking mine off when I do it anyway. I'll put my speed bleeders and SS brake lines on at the same time. BUt everything I heard about the kit was good, so we'll see. Otherwise I was just going to clean mine really well and shoot them with some 1200 degree paint, obviously cheaper. Up to you.
