epoxy is too weak. Gotta find a new one.

I have power locks, so I'm not sure what yours looks like from the inside, but here's how I changed mine. Pop off the interior door panel. Make sure the window is up. Peel the plastic back so you can stick your arm in. Use a 12mm (I believe) small socket wrench or crescent wrench to undo the bolt/screw from the inside. It's just slightly above and to the left of the key hole (if you're looking from the inside). take the clip off of the part that has the 3 wires connected to it that inserts into the back of the lock (if you have that). Take the 3 screws off that hold the interior handle to the door. Now take the torx screws out of the "lock" mechanism down on the side of the door. This is the part that actually latches to the car to keep the door from opening. Careful when moving this as there is a gasket attached to it. Now remove the screw/bolt from the end of the handle (on the side of the door as well). You should now be able to remove the whole handle assembly with a little bit of jiggling.

I wouldn't bother doing this until you have your new handle since you'll have to put it all back until you get one. emoji

Good luck
Matt

Mine broke a year ago on my talon. Snapped right off just opening the door. Anyways.... Havent fixed it. Not noticeable to the normal eye, but a hassle because I either have to leave the window cracked so I can reach in and open the door or I have to open it from the passenger side. Oh well. $80 is alot of money, but even if I were willing to pay it that things gota be a bitch to replace.

I got banned for being a constant tard.

Its not that bad. I just had to replace both of mine. The most expensive part is the handle. You can put it in yourself. It took me 2 hours to do the first one, but it only took me 20 minutes to do the second one. emoji

SHAVE IT, SHAVE IT!

no, im just kidding. a handle is small enough that you should be able to have it shipped from a parts yard pretty much anywhere in the country in less than a week. look on the net, maybe dsmtrader.com for one. i guarantee you could get that shipped to you overnight for less than $75.

if you use 2 ton epoxy, that will be more than strong enough. like the description, it takes 2 tons to break it. if you dont wanna do that, go to a boat parts store and they sell a resin kit made by West System. my father makes his own kayaks and those things take alot of abuse and still hold strong. if you want any info on it, email me at aemrs@hotmail.com

Haha Brynden is right. Took me damn near an hour for the first handle and 20 minutes for the next. Of course my bigass hands didn't help much.

It counldn't be THAT hard to find a door handle. I had mine for sale forever. I sold for $40 and bought some silver ones for $40. emoji

Replace 2 tires cost $400? You just got those 205/40 ones don't you? Shit I thought they were like $80-90 a piece.

I was $300 for 2 tires. And no they are no where near that cheap like u said. It's a weird tire size. Plus they are z-rated, not h-rated.

205/40 is cheaper than 215/45 usually. You can get the kuhmo 712's z-rated for 80 bucks a piece I think. Check it out. Of course Toyo will be a lot more though...
