Well here's the story.

Tedious shit you don't need to know to help me out:
Front passenger side fender got a rather nice size ding in it awhile back, more like a 4'' crease emoji So that wasn't that big of a deal cause with the paint buffed and polished, it wasnt soo bad... but damned the luck. We had real bad storms last night, knocked a tree down, and one branch hit the other damn front fender and dented it. I just got a 200 fxckin dollar car cover for while we put my dads head back in the good ol' beemer once again(meaning my cars gotta set outside for a few weeks), and the limb ripped the fabric... wtf... mother nature is a bitch.

I guess I will just claim it on home owners since the tree caused damage to some lower decking/hot tub, etc... as well and he'll already have a claim open...

What I need to know:
I am gonna get my own fenders and have them painted by a friend. What options do I have for modifications that have been done to the fenders? Z3 style, and seen some wide body mold-on's done before... anyone wanna give me some advice? I have seen z3 style look good, but on my car i dont know about.. Any help is much appreciated...TIA

First off I have to give you props on the front bumper. I have seen the stillen front on their site but didn't like it untill I seen it on your car a while back......Ok now back to the fender question, I saw some fenders on www.stylincompacts.com that are different than the z-3's. They have one small vent and some silver fins coming out of the vent, if you put in your car and search for fenders you will see a pic of them on an eclipse. I like them, and I have never seen them on a car out in public. For the pair they are 389.00 and they are fiber glass. I don't know what kind of money you are looking to spend but these are what I would buy because everyone has the z-3 fenders.

dfresh

will post more pics when front is painted

everything avalible in cf, clear coated or non if u want to paint it, and fiber glass

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.

the Stillen looks different in person than in pics if you ask me. emoji

Brad I would go with some widebody fenders in the front, if you have the means, because it would give your car that "viper" look when people stare from the rear looking at the sides. Or, get the new style z3 fenders where instead of the "shark gills" look its the more retro, 30s style coupe fender with the hole and a chrome horizontal line going over the hole. Hard to explain, but theres another type of fender like that. I seen them on hondas and such but I know they make them for our car.

I agree that the orig. z3 style ones look a bit dated, so i might look into the newer ones, or maby some wider front fenders... might just pull the dents and not worry about new fenders.. but it's sure tempting since insurrance is just cutting a check for the estimate cost.

I really dig the M3 style fenders, just throwin that out as a suggestion. Sorry about your luck with mothernature brad. There were some really bad storms that went through indiana in the past couple of days. I have to park my car outside which really sucks. Before I had the talon, part of the roof from my barn fell completely on top of my car. I came outside n all I could see was a roof on my car. Luckily it only put 2 very small dents on the top n side of my car. Thank god it wasn't the talon. hehe.

I think a purge would be great out of these.

If I got some aftermarket fenders, these would be the ones. They don't stand out too much and their nice and clean looking. Every time I see them I can see the purge spraying out. It's like they were made for it.

Oh, and I'm not trying to sell these. I sound like a fucking used car salesman don't I!

where do you get that style? what are they made out of if you know? Everything I find is fiberglass for aftermarket fenders, but that shits to hard to work with most people say..

who here has fiberglass fenders? how's everyone feel about them?
