I'm getting a set of door caps ( I'm a RS) and wanna know what is the best way to securely mount em? Drilled holes/ grommets? double stick tape? thanks

i used drilled holes with grommets. ive heard double sided tape will just fall off

May be the lame thing to do, like the old duct tape trick for other things, but I used cold-weld. Cold weld is like putty its at all auto stores. I lined the cap with it, slapped em on and let them sit overnight, wont come off no matter how hard you pull, or kick, or whatever.

I got banned for being a constant tard.

what if u needed to repaint the car? Couldn't remove the caps. Or are there ways to still pull it after the cold weld?
