this is a quick maybe stupid question

i will receive my urethane kit on mon or tuesd i think...

there arent many credible body shops around here that will do the install so my electronics/alarm/etc guy said he can do it, or has done them before...

question is, is i imagine its not going to be as simple as remove the old stuff and just put up the kit in the same holes as the old...

do i need to buy anything? do they sell body kit installation kits? or some kinda glue or something for side skirts, or do they scrwe in too?

please let me know if you know anything about installing these....i dont want to walk in there and not have the right stuff to install this properly

well if u got the urathane blitz kit pretty much when u get it take the side skirts and throw them in the trash from there on out the front and the rear should fit fine. Dont waste your time tryin to put the side skirts on u cant mold them in they fit like crap

I dont mean to downplay the person who knows about blitz skirts when I dont have a clue, But I dont really think someone who spent $$$ on them is going to want to just throw them away... You can use alot of jb-weld and things like that like I did. WIth stock skirts from a gsx on my esi. I didnt have any skirt holes because I didnt have stock skirts, so I made a few holes just to hold the skirts on with screws, and jb-welded the rest to make them fit snugly. Id imagine you can do anything with the right amount of time, no matter how bad blitz fits

hmmmm well my stock skirts for a bit didnt like to stay on so when i originally got all the dents and dings fixed, repainted and shit i had them screw the skirts onto the car to make them snug...

maybe ill ask them to do the same for the blitz skirts, its getting a whole new paint job afterwards anyways and they can just cover the screw holes

Don't they have a different type of resin for molding of urethane. Im almost certain that is what the guy who is about to do my car said. I asked him if I should just go ahead and get the fiberglass skirts. He said absolutely not he can mold the urethane too just takes a different resin than the fiberglass. This is a very reputable shop too. Has done over 4 urethane blitz kits, they looked very good to. Suggestion: You might just want to ask around.
