#33499, "Good Deal on these rims?"

Bought these Motegi 17x7 MR7's on Ebay with 215/45R17 H rated Capitol Negotiator Tires + mounting and balancing for 900 bones. The rims were in boxes never used. I know the retail is like around 150 per rim but I dunno about the tires. The guy says they are Falkin brand but I've never heard of em. Good deal or not?

why go with 17s my friend has a set of 19 in kmc suicides for sale they were on his show car (hardly driven) for only 3 mths)
nice light weight wheels. 19x7.5 he is selling them for 800..... they retail for over 1300 i think. look up kmcwheels.com
they are really nice and the way that the scene is going, bigger is better!
email me if u r interested. that is defintely a good deal.

I thought about going larger (thx for the offer by the way) but with those rubber band tires on 19's id have a hard time driving where i live. The occasional dirt road if you know what I mean.

17's are way to small to put on our cars..for a couple hundred more go with 18's and drop the car a little..trust me you will be happier..

Yeah, still playing around with em. God knows they are better then those ghetto stock 14's and balloon tires.

Speaking of, Anyone want a set of 99 RS 14's with tires in perfect shape with 70-90 percent tread left?

i understand. i roll down some gravel with the 20s that i have now. besides you can get a good ride out of the 19s with the right springs and shocks. it really isnt an expensive mod to do there are a couple writeups that has some easy to do and cheap. i have air on now and that is a ruff rider. but yes 17s are really too small to put on. the gsx came out stock with 17s. my friend might sell his stock gsx wheels if you are wanting something like that. but believe me when i first started i got 17s and when it was next to 18s they looked small so then i got 18s with a lot of modding and air we now have 20s not alot of eclipse out there riding on dubs. of course that is for the occasional stroll and at shows i have some 18s to race on.
think about it and let me know
