sups all,

ok, i am about to buy a Blitz body kit for my 95 eclipse...and i will also be buying 97-99 projector headlights....they asked me what year my car was so i dont know if im getting a 95 or 97 body kit...

are the 95 or 97 body kits the same thing? i basically just want my 97 headlights to fit perfectly...

second, i also purchased Altezza lights...i havent received them yet but i thought it would be just a simple unscrew and screw in new ones...

my question is, is i read somewhere that you have to silicon the lights first prior to installation? if so, what kind of silicon

thanks again

ok, the 95-96 headlights are longer than the 97-99's at the front, towards the middle. there are a few front end kits for 95-96 but very few and none make a blitz kit for that year. if you got 97-99 lights youll want a 97-99 body kit front, and thats the only type the blitz comes in. you can make a 97-99 front fit on a 95-96 lights, it requires cutting away some of the bumper around the lights. as far as the question about altezzas, i have owned 2 pair and never had to silicone them. thats an issue if you buy cheap ones like from APC or something. the only thing that usually leaks with all altezzas, regardless of make is the center peice cuz i dont think they do much sealing on that. youll just have to look and see really, becaue i havent ever had to silicone my peices. hope this helps

yea, when you take the bulbs outta your stocker they just twist and pull out, their in a boot sort of thing. then take off all the nuts, be sure to get the one at the very corner. when tightning down the new ones, be careful, alot of people including myself have torqued off one or more of the bolts, but get it tight enough. after that just twist in the bulbs/boot and your done.
