is your a/c on or did he only use one led because i remember him saying something about that, sucks if he only used one, two can be put in there, it looks cool but kind of defeats the purpose of only the indicator

its only one led. emoji. I didnt want to fuck with his button and see if i could solder just one led to the circuit board to get it to light only when the AC is on. If you wanna send me your ac as a guinea pig so to speak so i can pratice on it, i would be more than grateful emoji .

Plus, i like how both things lite up blue no matter what. If you cant tell when your ac is on or not, then u dont deserve too have ac emoji

BTW, ProDMD, love the choice of rims. And is your center piece taillighjt like mirrored or something? its look hot.

And the pic does do no justice to the true lighting. i took a pic of mine, but it came out soo poor i felt posting it would make it look crappy when actually it looks better. Your pic turned out a lil bettter than mine, but still no justice. Oh well. glad YOUR happy

i was able to get led's in mine so no need for a guinea pig, but if i sent you something with 2 lights, i would want it to come back with 2 lights, its 2:30, but ill take a pic tonite

btw, did you just soder to the board? we just modified the stock bulb holders and used those, the only sodering we did was the resistor to the led

well the LED that changes color when the AC is on has no holder. It is soldered directly onto the circuit board. So how did you not solder a new one onto that?

we sodered the indicator light, we replaced the 3mm led with another 3mm led, as for the button itself, we just modified the bulb holder

ok ya lost me there. You sodered the light that lights up the clear rectangle rectangle on top correct? And then did you just replace the smaller 3mm bulb, or did u have to modify the holder?

Also, IMO, the top is wayyyyyy to bright for my taste. Thats how bright mine was at first and it was annoying. So I kinda put the LED in the middle of the hole where the smaller LED holder was. That way, the lighting is just right,

But to each his own.

Ya, Im glad to have it match the color of the HVAC verses a brighter bean using 2 LEDS. good job Jim emoji

BTW Jim I had a feeling you would like my rims! That's a mirror like (hologram) decal between my taillights IMO it blends in well with my altezzas

we drilled out the holes in the bulb holder with a dremel drill bit, then we put in the led in there
and its only that bright looking straight at it
