Hey I hooked up my blitz fatt turbo timer for my 95 GST a few months ago and i just realized my alarm doesn't arm once my turbo timer turns off..is there a write-up on how to make it work and stuff with the factory alarm system for a 95 GST? Thanks..your help is very much appreciated.

I was thinking about this the other day. How would u arm the alarm unless u stay around for a few minutes. Kinda defeats the purpose. Also what u are asking about. I'd like to know.

You can setup most aftermarket alarms to auto-arm after a minute, 2, or 3... so if you usually count down 2 min, you can have it arm in 3, just lock you doors when you get out, and the alarm will arm shortly... or if you have a stock alarm, dunno...

ok well i'm buying an aftermarket alarm..so i'd have to set it to arm like in 1 minute? you can't arm it while the car is still on? I'm thinking of one of the viper systems..not the expensive $500 ones..just a like $300 system..thanks

It cant be armed because alarms use sensors that monitor vibrations n' shit, so if the engine is running, thats enought to set the alarm off, i mean, if you cout down for 1 minute and the alarm arms right after that, its not like someone is gonna steal anything 1 minute after you walk away from the car... I just lock my doors when i head to class, and by the time i am up to the doors, the car shuts off and the siren chirps to let me know its armed...
