8k Hanabi setup.

http://carstylez.com/brian/hids/

Enjoy. And honestly, pics do this NO justice. They are 837923 brighter than my 60W Eurolights... I tried to show the difference in the one pic, but you really have to see them...

Left HID, right EuroLight...

Nice! I wish I had HIDs. How much did they cost you and how much customization was required to install em?

Hey 97GSAT, you have projectors right?? If so do yours use H3 bulbs?? Im kind of scared to get them and have the damn housings melt on me. Ive heard that HID lights burn cooler than normal bulbs, but dont know if that is true.

yeah..they use H3 bulbs, u have to cut the caps to make them fit and the caps cannot close normally, I have to use tapes to hold the cap in place. I have heard that they just draw 35w each. I don't have any melting proble tho. But one werid thing is, I have to turn off the fog light be4 I turn the headlight on, and then I can turn the fog light on after the headlight is on. otherwise the headlight fuse( have to change the fuse to 25A) will blow. I mean every time.

that is because of th high draw those lights have to turn on some times both wont light and you'll have to turn em off and back on couple times to get hem to work...

whered u get your kit from and are u impressed on the road visability over a yellow bulb my blue ones are worse then stock but look cooler?

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.

you know the projector headlights are junk, they decrese the brightness of the HID a bit but they still surely brighter than any regular halogen, neon blubs.
I ordered my kit form midnightmoose.com, their customer serive is excellent.there are some misunderstandings with the insturction comes with the kit and it made me blew the HID blubs 3 times(!). Turned out they get me a new bulbs for free every time!

I have seen some places selling it for cheaper tho.

I paid 350$ for the kit. It's a Hanabi 8k setup. 0 modification to get them in. All plugs, and VERY nice setup. Came with everything, the relays, wires, fuses, etc. REAL easy to install, took about 45 minutes. Anyone intrested in them, hit me up.. Email, or PM, whatever... emoji

Brian...
p.s.- They are MUCH brighter than the yellow one's. emoji haha... Love the color, and the flash they make when they frist kick on rules.

Uhm, they are HID Headlight bulbs. These are not "eurolight" replacements. They are true HID lights. Requires the ballasts to run, etc... so 350$ is quite cheap. emoji

>Still just lights. I like them though.

Yeah when you consider OEM HID systems usually cost 1k from mercedes or lexus, 350 is a steal. Does it disperse the light very evenly though, or kind of spread out everywhere and blind people?

The kit I got is available to ASOG and 2gnt members for 350$.. Uhm, Actually, they are somewhat pointed straight. I do get the occassional person high beaming me, but that is uslaly when I am coming around a corner, and they are pointed at their car...

I am pretty impressed with how they don't blind too far to the right, or left. I dunno, guess ya have to see em.. emoji

the one thing i dont like about HID are when a car with HID is coming at you, any bump it hits, the lights will like look like they are brigther or seem to turn a diff color. Thats my only gripe

Hmm, I don't think I have that problem... My lights are white no matter what angle u look at. The part that is tinted blue(due to the spark of the bulb) is the headlight itself. I dunno...

Dam those things look hot!!! I really like them! Also $350-450 Are both great prices! I have heard that moose place is really good also! A few members at thegalantcenter.com have bought HID kits from them and all have good luck.

wow...very impressed! looks clean...if I didn't just spend 400 on a clutch and 300 on instal on the clutch then I would consider getting them. Very nice though!!

And the reason why it cost 300 for install is because I am AWD and I would do it myself but my buddy has an AWD Eclipse and it took him 5 days!!!

I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know emoji Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...
