#32471, "windows have water spots from acid rain I think....."

I have unremoveable water spots on my glass all around. and my side views. Looks bad, and I wanna get it off. I have tried almost everything. I heard that duraglass nuglass works for it, but I can never find a place that has it. Anyone know of anything I can get to do this with? I tried almost everything and I still have water spots baked on to my glass. Do I have to replace all my glass and my mirrors to fix this?

Are these spots on the rear and sides only? Or are they on the windsheild and sunroof also? Are they randomly distributed or in a grid pattern?

sounds like acid rain.. i had this on my PGT and there isnt much you can do about it.. if you've tried all the cleaners the only thing left is trying to remove it carefully with a razor blade or steel wool.. if neither of these work -- and they probably wont, then there is nothing you can do.. i talked to my glass guy as well and my paint/body guy and they both said once you get acid rain spots you have to replace the glass to get rid of it.. basically what you're seeing is the areas where the acid has eaten into the glass.. sucks man.. good luck.

I heard that duraglass shit works with time. I need to find some. Advance auto doesn't have it, or autozone. Wal-mart, target, etc don't carry it either. I heard that they have glass polish or something, but no idea what it is. Also that they can buff off a thin layer to remove spots. Gonna check into it all.

Are you sure that its not just the polorized glass, because polorized glass looks like it has light blue and almost light orange spots but they are supposed to be there.

you can tell whether they are spots or its polarized -- run your fingernail over it and see if you can feel them emoji

i had the same shit on my car and parents car before.. if it has not been on the glass to long, you can use the clay bar same kind for the body of the car and spray, and rub with the clay. got to do it alot and rub HARD. this will work if its just new crap on the glass, if its been more then a week its going to be hard or you cant remove it like that... i tried to do it on my old car which had it on for 1 months, and guess what i could not remove it no matter what i did...
good luck
