#32276, "Anyone got the skizzy on racing seats???"

I am thinkin that once all my exterior body work is all done that i'ma get me up some nice racing seats. Now, to me paying like $600 a seat is a tad outrageous. Whats out there for reclineable racing seats that are affordable to the average schmoe like me??? I have been eying the carbeu's for a while, or does anyone have some for sale cheap?? emoji LMK WTF is up IMO

Now listen to me.
GET Dynamic Auto Design (DAD) seats. They are FUCKING BAD ASS! The feel soooooo good and look bad ass too. They're fully adjustable too. By bro has them in his 240sx and they fucking ROCK. I'll get some pics up if you remind me. And someone told me that they are made @ the same factory Sparcos area made in, thats always good.

Those seats FUCKING rock.

i got a tenzo r reclinable. I like it. I bought my single one for like 380 shipped. That includeed sliders and brackets. Search for tenzo r on ebay and some company is sellin 2 of em for like 400 dollars. Good buy if u ask me.

If my dad brings home the digi camera today, i'll take some pics of my seat.

DAD seats!!!!!!!!! i have them in black! very nice, paid $500.00 shipped! YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE YOUR OWN MOUNTING BRACKETS!!!!!!!!!!!
they come with "universal sliders" that still need to mount to a seat bracket of some kind. None of the other seat makers that i called will sell you or even have the correct brackets to use with the DAD seats. thier mounting holes for the sliders are different than the bolts on the seats.
i can supply pics if wanted.

Oh yeah...I forgot to tell you that the "Universal Brackets" Aren't so universal. My brother had to spend like 20 bucks to mount them in his 240sx. BUT THEY ARE WORTH IT. He got his of e-bay for $400. BRAND NEW.

I was lookin at the Corbeau Carrerra's. Sweet seats, not all that pricy either. We'll see what the cash flow allows though. This was more of a feeler for whats on teh market.

word of advice... try to find a local place that sells these, and sit in them. see how you like them before you buy them. i really liked the corbeau carrera, but i sat in one in hot import nights in atlantic city. MAD tight in the hips, and i'm not all that big... I SWEAR! emoji you want something to hold you snug in place, but not something to be tight as hell, especially when you take road trips. by the way, imo recaro is THE BEST, not corbeau.

I would love to go someplace and sit in different seats. But there is only one place that has ANY seats i can sit in and those or them type r seats, or whatever they are. Nice seats, not sure if i want em though. So maybe we could all hook up at a show and i can sit in everyones seats, then i can buy them at a vender and install them at the show emoji.

at nopi, the vendors had them out. Sparcos and corbeaus are both sweet. I have a set of corbeau cr1's, and I love them. Really comfortable. They are made with a 34" waist or something I heard. My friend is pretty big tho, and he fit in the passenger seat. lol. If I had the $$$, I would get the momo seats with the carbon fiber shells. So pimp. emoji

DAD seats rock. My friend has them in his (cough cough) Civic and they seem to be very high quality construction and they feel pretty good to sit it. I would look into DAD seats.
