ok im sure someone is familiar with this. underneath the rugs there are the large metal sound deadening pieces .. i was wondering

if anyone has removed them ...
how bad is the road noise ...
is it worth the effort ..
what do u think they come out to in lbs ..

also i wanted to ask if u guys think its a good idea to leave the passenger side plates and take out the drivers side to distribue the weight evenly.. i have almost nothing on the passenger side of the car right now
