for those of you that used SEM paint to do you interior, and painted it black, which black did you use, satin, gloss, or landau? i personally am looking to have that "stock"-looking finish, and i think that the stock black dashes look like they're gloss black. which do you guys think? also, please post any pics that you may have. THANKS!

that looks great dan! so the satin still has some gloss to it? is the white done in SEM also? how do you feel about the quality of the paint? how's it stick? did you clear it after painting?

Dexter, Everything is painted with SEM paint. I just happen to have a local paint shop that carries SEM stuff close by so I have easy access to their products. Paint sticks really well but I did use an adheasion promoter called "Sand Free" also made by SEM. Most pieces I didn't use a clear coat on. Just the pieces that are more prone to being kicked. IE, the lower center console sides and the lower sides on the door. For those 2 areas I used SEMs "low luster clear" So far so good, the paint has held really well. Most of the time if I do get a scuff or dirt mark. Just wiping it with a damp towel seems to clean it just fine.
