there was a thing a little while back about a german taillight mod. it was done by a guy from carolina dsm. brynden was going to do one but i haven't gotten the writeup from him so i went ahead and did it myself. mine is a little more time consuming and also has to do with some wire running but it works all the same.

Okay, but you're still not explaining the point here. What does this mod actually do...not what is it called.

if you look at your stock setup on the taillights. the outside sockets on the driver and passenger side just light up and the two inside ones are the blinker and brake light(shown in the diagram; "x" being the outside socket, "o" being the brake lights and blinker")
xoo---oox
what this does is make the "x" become the blinker and the "o" remain just a brake light(no blinker whatsoever on the "o")
does that work better for ya?????
