How the hell do you get them to fit in the car? My brackets suck. They don't fit at all on the driver side.

one of my buddys has em in his car, but i know he had to do mad customizing to get them in there, but they are well worth it. if i see him soon Ill ask him about them.

I have them... I had no issues getting them in either...ok Ihad one issue... one of the bolts is damn near impossible to get in... So I only have 3 bolts holding my seat down.... shhh don't tell anyone.

I am modifying them to work. I am using spacers and a longer bolt for the corner that doesn't fit. I found out a wire was in the way. I moved it. now, I just need the spacer.

You know what... after having read ur post in the pits... I think I did have to widen one or two of the holes in the brackets to make them fit....

yeah, if you didn't I don't know what the hell's up with mine. It's like the inner front hole I think on both sides that has to be widened a little to fit. I heard these things were made to fit a 1st gen. I will make them work. These seats will be in my car by tomorrow if all goes as planned.

do your seats smell funky??? my buddies smell like they were smuggled across the border with some of that sticky icky.

not that I noticed

all i know is his came straight from canada, they were 600 a piece, you sit in those things and oh my god they are so comfortable, they got that adjustable lumbar support, if he ever decides to get rid of em, Ima be all over those heheh.

I woke up this morning, and my dad was like, you ready to get on those brackets? I'm like yeah. HE HAD THEM IN THE CAR! He had went early and extended the holes out. The longer bolt and spacers I had weren't even needed. The corner that was too high went into place. I have the seats in the car now. OMG, I love the feel. Only dislike is that the headrest comes higher and increases blindspots. But, I really like how they sit a little higher up it seems, and that they hold you in place, but still give enough comfort for a street driven car.

do your brackets have the numbers 1096 and 1097 marked on them? just wondering? I Had no problems installing my brackets and MOMO 100 lakes K/C seats.

looks cool, but ditch the powered by mitsubishi pads

well, without mitsubishi's body, I'd be driving a honda prelude. That was my 2nd choice in a car.
Maybe they'd say powered by chrysler if I was putting them under the hood? I dunno. My car doesn't have chrysler badging. It isn't a chrysler. The motor is, but it's a merger. It's both. It's pretty hard to find pads that just say MITSUBISHI, or whatever. I will probably get some that say ECLIPSE if I find them. Or maybe I'll wait till summer and have some made that say powered by turbo.
Powered by $$$ IMO. $$$ sucks my ass 3 times, then moves on to the next unfortunate guy.
