Sup everyone...i was just browsing importfans website and saw there ad saying that you buy any front bumper or kit and you get a free carbon fiber hood? Has anyone done this and how is the quality of the kit and the hood? for you who don't know the site its www.importfan.com

*Hoods are not C-WINGS brand, these are from another factory, a limited batch. Finish is good, hoods come with latch, and factory mounting points. Hoods do not have UV protection / heat resistant coat, this can be fixed with 1000grade sand paper and clear coat, when you are getting someting on your car painted. Other than that the hoods are very nice
AKA Piece of shit they say they are from an off site factory they also say with one bumper you can order as many hoods as your want so face it when something sounds to good to be true its Bullshit haha if anyones a troopper and is gonna go for it good luck

Uhh if they are giving you an unlimited number of cf hoods for free with just one bumper, there is definitely something wrong here. They probably will charge you for shipping on each hood, and they are most likely junk. They wouldn't give away stuff and lose money for no reason. CF is not cheap. And they said you will have to sand it and clear coat it, which is a big hint that the finish and quality of the hood is probably not very good. But maybe it will all work out...

actually i really thinking og buying a front end from them so if anyone wants a hood they can just pay the shipping and i'll get one for them. just let me know...but i think shippin is like 200 dollars!

I paid 1307 for a front end, set of hood pins, and 6 carbon fiber hoods...I can sell the hoods on ebay legitimately for about 250 or so, from what i can see. and thats just if i want to get my stuff for free.....we'll see how it works out.

I guess that might be a good deal. If the finish is like what I am imagining, no one will want it if you put pics up though. We had one cf hood that was completely dull, and unsmooth. Ended up returning it and getting a fiber images hood. Good luck...

I live by the FI hood now...one of my buddies who has a Talon...
He has a FI hood now and he stood on it!!!! He's not light either...like 250!!! All the hood did was bend, I'm getting one of those!!!!!!
I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...

I have a friend that said he'd look at em and throw a coat of clear on em for me if i jus pay for the material. We'll see, the only thing i am really concerned about is fitment. There was only one way to find out, but the good thing out of this deal is that i at least get a new front end And its even pretty much the style i wanted to get.
